We have been selected for a new competition in Chiusa, Italy

We have been selected to participate with AOR Architects in the competition of TINNE young museum in Klausen, Italy.

The competition concerns the design of the TINNE young museum Klausen in the ‘Giardino dei Cappuccini’ (garden of the former Capuchin Monastery) in Klausen, as well as redesigning the existing art and culture ensemble there.

The ‘Giardino dei Cappuccini’ (Capuchin Garden) currently serves as a public space for various activities and as the entrance to the buildings of the Capuchin Monastery.

The Monastery is used as the municipal museum, library and day-care centre. Furthermore, the garden offers access to the rehearsal space of the Bürgerkappelle band, and steps leading to the hillside.

Together with the nearby Loreta Chapel, next to the planning design site, the Monastery is subject to a heritage conservation order.

Moreover, the entire development site is “identified with certainty as an archaeological area”.
