MASU Planning has been commissioned as sub-consultant on the landscaping part of the overall renovation of the two schools Lykkebo in Valby and Rødkilde in Vanløse. Both schools are built in the 1940s, and now face a complete renovation of both buildings and outdoor areas.

Lykkebo School will be developed as part of a bigger climate adaptation plan for the area in collaboration with HOFOR. This will provide new exciting opportunities for play and learning, when rainwater management solutions are creatively incorporated in the outdoor environment.

Rødkilde School’s outdoor area will also be renewed. The school’s location, near the top of Bellahøj, with good access to the green areas of Bellamarken and Rødkilde Park, will provide great possibilities for outdoor activities and play. The solution will meet the wishes for new outdoors gymnastics, climbing, physically challenging activities and play with water. Right now are we in the initial stages of the project, and we are looking forward to showing the first plans in the near future.
