We are happy to announce that, together with SHL Architects, Buro Happold and Matter Byprix, we have been selected as the winners of the two-stage competition for the extension of the Helsingborg City Library in Sweden!

The new library, which will be an extension of the existing City Library of Helsingborg, will be carefully carved out from the grounds of the existing City Park, creating a strong, natural connection between the City Park and the new library roof garden.

The new roof garden and the existing park are woven into each other, resulting in a coherent and distinctive urban green space. The development is stepped to follow the contours of the existing landscape while maximising flexibility at one level and connecting the new with the existing.
