Another master plan project in Helsinki!

As a part of the renewal of Pasila, the northern part of the railway area will be transformed into new housing – the Postipuisto Neighborhood.

We will create well-functioning urban spaces that support communities and casual interaction. Quite a task, but this neighborhood should be a great place to live, grow up or grow old and enjoy everyday life.

To accomplish this we will focus on creating urban spaces that put people first, with carefully planned transition zones between private and public and lots of greenery.

We are continuously developing and refining our way of working with transitions zones and activities as a tool to create good urban spaces and streetscapes.

Here is a couple of examples: Design manual of  the central Pasila. Masterplan of Kruunuvuorenranta. Design manual for  Tyynenmerenkatu. Urban transformation of the Arabia Factory area, Hennela masterplan, Koskela Hospital Area, Urban Renewal of Solvangskvarteret as well as our newest masterplan projects that hasn’t made it to the website yet: of Hernesaari, Nihti and Melkinlaituri.
