03 Nov 2021 THE RENEWAL IN CLASSENSGADE HAS STARTED!
Last June, we started the renewal of the Classensgade courtyard in Copenhagen.
One of the main characteristics of this courtyard is its dimension. With limited space, our goal is to transform it into a welcoming environment.
With the aim of using every square meter carefully, we have selected high-quality elements and materials that will accompany the residents in Classensgade.
Besides, utilizing tactile materials such as brick and wood will invite the residents to enjoy the courtyard. Also, to experience the water feature that reflects the sky and the foliage.
In addition, rainwater is managed above ground and directed to the central planting bed, and collected in a pond. Plus, the water adds seasonal changes to the small courtyard and creates a water-loving plant selection base.
For the past few years, we have been working on renovating housing courtyards such as Bernhard Bangs Allé, Beethovensvej, and Natergalevej, where we take advantage of the renewal to develop rainwater management in the yards.
