21 Mar 2025 Sune Oslev turns 50
Join us in celebrating Sune Oslev’s, partner and co-owner of MASU Planning, 50th birthday (21st of March).
Since 2011, Sune has led a wide range of landscape projects across all scales at MASU Planning, which he co-runs with his partner Malin Blomqvist.
A common thread in Sune’s work is a deep respect for the unique qualities of each site, combined with an honest, elegant, and playful design approach that creates robust, inclusive, and climate-friendly landscapes.
Notable projects include Bevægelsestorvet in Nørrebro, Sports and Culture Campus in Gellerupparken, PH Park, climate adaptation projects on Nattergalevej and Classensgade, as well as numerous school projects that combine learning and movement with recreational and social elements.
Sune graduated as a landscape architect from the Royal Danish Academy – School of Architecture in 2003. Before joining MASU Planning as a partner, he worked at Arkitema and Schmidt, Hammer & Lassen.
Privately, Sune and Malin live in Roskilde, where he is currently overseeing the transformation of the city’s station square and central pedestrian route. Locally, Sune is also involved in Byens Haver, a large-scale development project for Roskilde South. The couple has two daughters, Iris (13) and Alva (18), and their household is completed by their rabbit, Laika.
In his free time, Sune continuously expands his extensive vinyl record collection and frequently visits concert venues – often with a preference for offbeat musical experiences or hip-hop. His love for music is also reflected in his volunteer work as a driver for Roskilde Festival. Additionally, he enjoys exploring the landscape on his vintage Vespa scooter or Triumph motorcycle.
